Swedish Day UK 2025
Swedish Day 2025 celebrated its 18th year .
What a great year once again, over 200 Saabs, Volvos and Polestars came along with their owners to park together and let the enthusiasts look over them.
Lots of smiley people chatting and getting a nice sun tan, although some of us forgot to put cream on with the excitement of the show.
9 awards were presented this year. A big thank you to all the sponsors for your support. The nine prizes at the 2025 show were awarded like this.
Volvo Owners Club “Most Admired Volvo”, chosen by
the people at Swedish Day went to Richard Weaver and
his Volvo P1800 ES.
Chris Hamley sponsored the “Most Admired Saab”,
chosen by the people at Swedish Day, which went to
Abrar Sharif and his Saab 99 2-door.
Graeme Lambert from Polestar awarded a prize to Tim
Harris and his Polestar 2.
Saab Enthusiasts Club gave their "Youngest Saab
Owner" award to Ruben Osborne (17) and his Saab 9-3
SE Coupe.
A R B Property Services gave his "Youngest Volvo

I would like to thank
everybody for supporting this event, the helpers,
the sponsors mentioned above, Vicky and her team
from The Rugby Club, the internet
forums and blogs, good friends Mark, John, David,
Ash, sister Belinda, niece
Siobhan and her daughter Alice for helping throughout the
day. But the biggest thank you goes to all the
owners of those lovely Saabs, Polestars and
Volvos that came along on the day.
Next years show will be held on Sunday the 10th May.
Robin.
